By accessing or using the Course Map website, its matching algorithms, data insights, or any related features, you ("User" or "Student") agree to be bound unconditionally by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease all use of the platform.

2. Informational Purpose Only (No Advising)

Course Map is an independent data aggregation and visualization tool designed solely for informational and educational purposes. The platform does not provide academic, admissions, financial, or career advice. The "Will I Get In?" admission calculators, match engines, and grade profile visualizations are probabilistic estimates based entirely on historical student data. What School Ltd does not guarantee admission to any university or higher education institution under any circumstances.

3. Limitation of Liability and Assumption of Risk

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, What School Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or reliance on Course Map.

This explicitly includes, without limitation, liability for:

• Rejected Admissions: Any university application rejection, regardless of whether Course Map categorized the application as "Likely" or a "Safety" match.
• Financial Outcomes: Discrepancies between projected graduate salaries (derived from LEO/GO data) and actual real-world earnings or employment outcomes.
• Life Decisions: Decisions regarding student loans, accommodation choices, or course progression derived from the platform's cost-of-living and student satisfaction indices.

4. Third-Party Data Disclaimers (HESA & OfS)

Course Map relies heavily on public datasets provided by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and the Office for Students (OfS), utilized under the Open Government Licence v3.0. What School Ltd does not independently audit, verify, or warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this third-party data. All metrics, including continuation rates, graduate salaries, and National Student Survey (NSS) scores, are provided "as-is."

5. External Links and AI Integrations

The platform contains dynamic links to external search engines (e.g., Google, TikTok, UCAS) and utilizes generative AI for advisory features. What School Ltd has no control over the content, algorithms, or availability of these external platforms. Utilization of AI features (such as the Chat Advisor) is done entirely at your own risk; AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or misleading statements ("hallucinations").

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless What School Ltd against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees resulting from your violation of these Terms of Use or your use of the Course Map platform in any decision-making capacity.
